Machara Miracle Network hopes you become inspired and motivated to help the communities of Apuk Padoc in South Sudan who are living in abject poverty. Founded by four Lost Boys of Sudan, MMN is dedicated to the goals that were born out of their dreams. Nearly 20 years after escaping the devastation of a civil war, and becoming part of the 40,000 Lost Boys of Sudan, they return home, educated and motivated to building a better life for humble relatives, friends, and communities. Joined by their American friends, they are seeking help in accomplishing their goals to improve Southern Sudan.

Only 10% of the population in apuk padoc has access to safe, clean water.
Fewer than 20 water wells serve the needs of approximately 70,000 people.
81% of the population does not have sanitation facilities.
Maternal mortality is 2,035 per 100,000 births – the highest in the world.
Childhood mortality in south sudan is 29%.
83% of the children are not vaccinated.
The average lifespan is 35 years for men and less for women.
The average annual household income is approximately $200.
