This event is to raise money to provide materials and training of locals to build agri wells, water purification units, ventilated pit latrines and smokeless stoves for the families of Apuk Padoc Community. These simple technologies for accessible clean water and sanitation can vastly improve the quality and longevity of life and lay a foundation for a thriving self sustaining community development.

Some of the positive life changes you can provide with a $400.00 donation per family of Apuk Padoc are:
1) Save lives and prevent illnesses with clean safe water for drinking, cooking and bathing.
2) Little girls can attend school and receive an education instead of spending an average of 5 hours a day collecting dirty water.
3) Each well will provide ample water to irrigate the land and grow nutritious food to support the health and well being of the family and excess can be sold at market to provide added income.
4) Prevent famine and death during the dry season
5) Smokeless stoves eradicate health issues caused by smoke as well as prevent little children from being burned from open fires.
6) A ventilated pit latrine provides exclusive use for each family and stops the spread of disease and illness from fly infestation.

Direct cost for:

Water well and purification unit $325.00
Ventilated pit latrine $53.00
Smokeless stoves $24.00
